Seattle Day of Service

The Seattle Day of Service, also known as the “One Seattle Day of Service,” is a citywide volunteer initiative organized by the City of Seattle. The event encourages residents to come together and participate in various service projects aimed at improving the community. Activities include neighborhood cleanups, gardening, graffiti removal, and helping those in need. It’s part of Mayor Bruce Harrell’s vision to foster inclusion, collaboration, and community engagement.

In 2024, over 100 public, private, and nonprofit organizations supported the initiative, offering diverse volunteer opportunities across Seattle. The Day of Service is expected to return in 2025, with even more ways for residents to get involved.
