What you can expect from your Kiwanis membership
• Opportunity to help children through service activities of interest to you in West Seattle.
• Organized, committed program to optimize the impact of your individually donated time, effort and resources, multiplying the value by investing it with fellow Kiwanians.
• Informative programs about children’s well-being, ecology, public safety, education, and others.
• Opportunity to enjoy camaraderie, socialize, and to develop friendships.
• Develop valuable leadership, organizational, and communication skills through online training and practical experience.
What a Kiwanis club needs from its members:
• Participate in Projects you want. We have at least 3 a month.
• Join in Social Activities. We offer at least 2 a month.
• Attend 1 monthly meeting regularly to the extent your family and work responsibilities allow.
• Accept leadership responsibilities on committees and activities
• Participate in meetings of the board and committees where you learn, first-hand, the management and organization of a Kiwanis Club.
• Participate in fundraising activities to further our goals and pay your annual dues.

Membership Process
1)Please complete an application and turn it in at a project or email to Denis, [email protected].
2)When asked pay membership dues. Kiwanis Year goes October 1 to September 30. $200 annual dues are prorated each month.
3) Applications are reviewed by the Kiwanis Board after dues are received.
4) Complete the background check.
