The Kiwanis Club is supporting the refugees in Ukraine from the Russian invasion. We have partnered with Peter Gelpi with two brothers have developed In God’s Hand, NGO within Ukraine to help feed, house and provide an orphanage. In the US, In God’s Hand is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization with tax ID# Tax ID: 87-4836298.
Peter has been recognized with the Everyday Hero award from the Mid Puget Sound Kiwanis Division in March 2024. Because Peter was in Ukraine his wife Caroline Platt and son Max Gelpi accepted the award in his place.
The Kiwanis Club of Marelbo is contributing food for the Ukrainians.
Peter continues to travel to Ukraine helping to expand and develop the program as conditions change. Peter sends us updates as he has time.
